Determination of Realtionships Between Machine Parameters on the one Hand and Cleaning Quality and Performance per Time Unit on the other Hand for Elastic Floors – Basis for an Appropriate Determination of the Cleaning Technique for a Given Cleaning Task
AiF 13132 N
For cleaning large, homogeneous floor coverings, due to profitability reasons only mechanical cleaning procedures are used. With such procedures currently an annual turnover of approximately 2,7 billion € is achieved.
Due to increasing costs, decreasing price levels as well as rising pressure of competition from the European neighbouring countries, further improvements of efficiency are necessary in the field of the mechanical cleaning in future.
A precondition is, that cleaning procedures are carried out with a maximum performance per time unit and a cleaning quality that is accepted by the customer.
As the cleaning quality decreases with an increasing performance per time unit, currently the building cleaning services work often with low performance per time unit in order to meet the customer requirements. These additional costs can’t be passed on to the customer.
In this project the realtionships between different machine parameters on the one hand and performance per time unit and cleaning quality on the other were recorded and summarized in an functional matrix.
