1. Subject of this Data Protection Declaration

We are delighted that you are interested in our “frt.de” website (the latter and all the associated sub-pages are referred to as “website” below). The protection of your personal data (“data”) is a particular and important concern of ours. Below we would therefore like to inform you of which data will be collected during the use of the website and how we use it. We would also like to inform you what measures we have taken from a technical and organisational perspective to protect your data. 2. Responsible office and service-provider

The responsible office within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and at the same time the service-provider within the meaning of the German Broadcast Media Act (TMG) is Europäische Forschungsgemeinschaft Reinigungs- und Hygienetechnologie e.V. The website gives you the opportunity to find out about Europäische Forschungsgemeinschaft Reinigungs- und Hygienetechnologie e.V. (FRT) and its activities.

4.1 Purely informational use of our website

We store the IP address only for the duration of your visit. There is no assessment related to a specific person.

4.2 Registration and login procedure

If you use our members’ area on the website with the assistance of the login procedure, we will use your user name or your email address for authentication and authorisation. In addition, your forename and surname will be stored in the database of the website to be able to classify the user names and email addresses of the contact partners of our members.

4.3 Consent form

We use the data you have entered on the consent form to send email newsletters, invitations to events and other information. You can cancel this consent at any time. You can send us an email with the cancellation to datenschutz@frt.de.

5. Duration of processing

In principle we process your data only for a long as this is necessary to provide the services on the website. For example if you have deleted your profile, we will also delete your data on a regular basis. This is not the case only insofar as we obliged to retain it on the basis of statutory retention obligations, in particular for tax and accounting reasons. In this case, we will delete your data when the corresponding periods of retention end.

6. Data transmission to a third party, third country transfers

Data transmission to a third party will take place exclusively in the case that you have expressly given your consent for this in advance or if we are entitled or obliged to do so for contractual or statutory reasons or by the courts or authorities. Transmission may be required if we instruct companies, for example technical service-providers, to carry out services. In this case agreements under data protection law are in existence to justify this transmission.

Transmission of your data to a third country outside the European Union or the European Economic Area or an international organisation will not take place.

7. Cookies

The website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files, which are sent during the use of our website by our web server to the website and are retained by the latter on your end-device so they can be called up.

The purpose of these cookies is to make it possible to use the website content you have called up. We use cookies with a cookie-ID for this to provide a members’ area on the website, which is protected by the user names and the associated passwords. If a user of the website does not login to the members’ area, then merely two anonymous cookies without a cookie-ID and always with the same names (“wordpress_test_cookie”, “accepted_privacy_policy”) and contents (“WP+Cookie+check”, “yes”) will be stored to test whether storing cookies is permitted and if the privacy policy was accepted.

Your data will not be collected or stored by us in cookies. We also do not use any technology to link the information generated by the cookies with user data.

The person affected can prevent cookies being stored by our website at any time through a corresponding setting of the Internet browser being used and therefore prevent cookies being stored on a permanent basis. Furthermore any cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all current Internet browsers. If the person affected deactivates the storing of cookies in the Internet browser being used, the use of the members’ area on the website will not be possible and the message that the Data Protection Declaration must be accepted will never be hidden.

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect any data occurring and collected, in particular against coincidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against an attack by unauthorised persons. Our security measures will be continually improved in line with technological developments.

9. Rights of persons affected

You have the right to request information about the data processing through the use of our website or its correction or deletion. Furthermore you can assert a right to limit processing or data transferability. Lastly, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
